Uganda cranes midfielder disappears from camp. The Uganda Cranes midfielder Nicholas Kasozi has vanished from the team’s camp at Cranes paradise hotel in Kisaasi.
David Isabirye, the Uganda Cranes Media Officer, says that the player disappeared from the camp without informing the authorities.
“He went out of camp but he never asked permission from authorities, if you are to get out of the bubble you must ask for permission from team manager, Geoffrey Massa or head coach Micho, there is high competition amongst the players you can’t make that mistake,” Isabirye said.
There are reports that the player complained complaining of stomach ache prior to his disappearance from the camp and could have gone for treatment.
However, Isabirye will not have any of this, saying the player’s case would have been handled in the camp. “The doctors here in the camp are fully equipped with all the necessary medical requirements, even if you are sick they can treat you,” Isabirye insisted.
