How CT Scan Ended Old Kampala Hospital Kidney Harvesting Saga

How CT Scan Ended Old Kampala Hospital Kidney Harvesting Saga. A 25-year old man who claims Old Kampala Hospital removed his kidney was born with just one organ, according to the results of a CT scan. After Muhammad Kabanda claimed Old Kampala Hospital removed his kidney without his permission, police took over the investigation and ordered the scan, which was done at Kampala Imaging Centre. However, the results of the abdomen scan revealed that Kabanda only had the right kidney at birth, a condition known as renal agenesis in medicine. According to doctors, kids who only have one kidney are completely healthy and lead regular lives. To maintain the health of their single kidney, they must be watched, nevertheless. Dr. Moses Byaruhanga, the Director of Police Health Services, handed the family the scan results on Saturday and said that Kabanda was born with one kidney that was larger than the average kidney and that he had numerous renal arteries, even though there is typically only one artery per kidney. "A renal artery is intended to be one, but in this case, there are several renal arteries present to maintain the right kidney's aberrant structure and make up for the left kidney's absence. This is what the scan shows," Dr. Byaruhanga said.He went on to say that it was ludicrous because the surgeon had chosen a tissue from the side of the body where there was no kidney. Because these tissues are compatible and difficult for the body to reject, Dr. Byaruhanga explains that when a surgeon requires a tissue to use during the procedure, it is extracted from the patient's body. Dr. Byaruhanga stated that when a patient needs a repair during surgery, the tissue must be taken from the patient because the body might reject a foreign tissue from another person and cause a reaction. He also added that the tissue is taken from a section of the body that has some fat and that the cutting to obtain a tissue is made on the surface, not deep into the body. ...

Lands Minister Nabakooba Warns Landlords Against Grabbing Governemt Unoccupied Land, Directs On Contested Land In Mityana

Lands Minister Nabakooba Warns Landlords Against Grabbing Governemt Unoccupied Land, Directs On Contested Land In Mityana. Lands Minister Judith Nabakooba has advised landlords against snatching up government-owned vacant land and selling it to gullible citizens. The Minister also detailed the Land Fund's role in the government's efforts to protect the land rights of thousands of Ugandans. According to Nabakooba, the Land Fund aims to ensure the security of tenure, and it has allowed the government to grant land titles to numerous individuals around the nation. She added that landlords shouldn't utilise the cash to defraud the government since "government buys land for people and those who are selling land to the government should be legitimate with clear documentation." The fund is a multipurpose resource envelope designed to assist specific beneficiaries, such as tenants looking to purchase or own property, governments looking to purchase land for the purpose of redistributing it to lawful inhabitants, or landless individuals being resettled, among others. ...
