Singer Jose Chameleon fires his first female manager Bijou and rehires Mutima. Leone Island boss Singer Joseph Mayanja aka Dr. Jose Chameleon is reportedly in advanced plans of officially recalling Nkuke Robert Jackson alias Mutima, from retirement to resume his management role at Leone Island.
It should be remembered that Chameleon contracted Bijou and unveiled her on 5th February 2020, at a colorful press conference that was held at Sky Lounge in Kampala.
Bijou had to take full responsibility for marketing the Chameleon brand and bringing in lucrative performance deals and endorsements.
However, Bijou is well known for managing clubs and events and she had no history of successfully managing a local artiste let alone a big brand like Dr. Jose Chameleon, who is arguably Uganda’s music export.
Following the past days, It said that it’s his former manager Mutima, who scouted several successful deals for the singer and saw him through a world tour in places like the United Kingdom (UK) where he had not performed for a long time, and the star now realizes that Mutima the right man for the job.
According to the trusted sources, it’s allegedly reported that the Leone Island boss called for an urgent meeting with Bijou, in which he retorted his future plan of recalling her managerial duties and his endorsement of Mutima to take over the managerial position.
