By 10th January 2025, Uganda a member state of the African Union organisation successfully received and facilitated the arrival of over 800 delegates from fellow member states of the African Union Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Department Programme (CAADP) summit.
The received delegates were officially received via Entebbe international Airport and they included seven heads of state, two vice presidents, and the chairman of the African Union, among other delegates.
The Director Airports and Aviation Security, Eng Ayub Sooma noted that the airport had a successful facilitation of arriving delegates and continues to handle more and is equally prepared to manage the departure of the delegates without interruption of the regular airport operations.
The summit venue was scheduled at Speke Resort Munyonyo
