EBOLA Cases Rise In Uganda. There have been 21 more Ebola deaths and 34 infections.
The Ministry of Health reported on Sunday evening that the number of Ebola-related deaths in the nation has increased to 21, and that there are currently 34 confirmed and suspected illnesses.
In a news release, the ministry’s spokesperson, Mr. Emmanuel Ainebyoona, reported that in the previous day, the nation had seen three new cases of infections and two new fatalities.
According to Mr. Ainebyoona, of the cumulative cases, which total 34, 16 have been verified in a laboratory, and 18 are likely. Likewise, of the 21 deaths, four are known to have occurred while 17 are likely.
Three cases reported outside of Mubende were in Kyegegwa, and one case was in Kassanda, but they were all connected to the index.
