Electoral Commission (EC) meets Inter Religious Council of Uganda (IRCU)
The Electoral Commission and the Council of Presidents of the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda (IRCU) had a Consultative meeting today, at IRCU Offices in Mengo, Kampala.

The Electoral Commission is meeting various stakeholders to discuss and hear their views about the revised timelines and proposed revisions to electoral operational guidelines to jointly find solutions and achieve credible elections.
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Justice Simon Byabakama has emphasised a peaceful, credible, free and fair elections as a way of honouring God. “This is because God wants us to hold each other in divinity and to treat one another fairly,” he said.
