In a bid to increase Access to Water for Agricultural Production the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries is welcoming the public to keep track of the current scope of the Micro Scale Irrigation Program on its platforms.
For the next three years, the program will be benefiting between 4,500 and 9,000 smallholder farmers who crop between 1 to 2.5 acres of farmland.
Additions will be made as the consultative process on Micro-Scale Irrigation goes on. The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries would like to recognize the input made by farmers and irrigation experts in response to the call for participation.
